The Department of Energy (DOE) Philippines, through the Energy Resource Development Bureau (ERDB), is accelerating its digital transformation initiatives with the implementation of the Energy Resource Information System (ERIS), a web-based platform designed to modernize energy resource data management and streamline regulatory services across the energy sector.
After a successful public bidding process, Filmetrics Corporation was awarded Phase 1 of the ERIS project, covering system design, development, testing, and deployment. The project aligns with the DOE Information Systems Strategic Plan for 2024–2026 and builds on the Department’s ongoing digitalization efforts, including its earlier collaboration with Filmetrics on the Energy Portal Project (Read here)
Filmetrics Corporation, one of the country’s leading identity management and business solutions providers (more about Filmetrics), is managing the ERIS project. Leveraging 16 years of experience in delivering information systems for government and private organizations, Filmetrics provides full end-to-end project support from system design and development to deployment, training, and post-implementation services, supported by its strong capabilities in system integration and biometrics solutions.
