Filmetrics Corporation Awarded PHLPost Postal ID Biometric Data Capture Project

Filmetrics Corporation has been awarded the Philippine Postal Corporation's (PHLPost) Procurement of Biometric Data Capture Services for the Postal ID Project. The award reinforces Filmetrics' position as one of the leading identity management and biometric solutions providers in the Philippines and reflects the company's continuing commitment to supporting government initiatives that deliver essential public services to Filipinos.
The Postal ID remains one of the most widely recognized valid government-issued identification cards in the country. Filipinos use it for banking, passport applications, government transactions, and everyday identity and address verification. The project covers biometric and demographic data capture, processing, verification, and the supporting systems for Postal ID services, including the deployment of 300 biometric capture workstations and 20 mobile capture devices across PHLPost locations nationwide.
The project officially kicked off on September 23, 2026, as Filmetrics and PHLPost began the implementation of the Postal ID biometric data capture services.

Beyond the technology, the project supports a vital public service by making Postal ID services more accessible to Filipinos across the country. For Filmetrics, being part of this initiative means putting its technology and capabilities to work for a program that serves the public nationwide.
Filipinos planning to apply for a Postal ID may do so at participating PHLPost capturing post offices, where applicants will undergo the required biometric and demographic data capture.
